Does the bag really cover the claws?
Yes. A fresh bag is pulled through the center of the claw mechanism and then opened around the outside of the claws before pickup.
Where is the bag roll stored?
The bag roll sits inside the upper claw mechanism. It is not stored in the lower turquoise/orange cup.
What is the lower cylinder for?
The lower cylinder is the protective cover for the claw head. It encloses the claws while the tool is being carried or stored.
Can I store a used poop bag inside the lower cylinder?
This page does not describe the lower cylinder as a waste-storage compartment. After pickup, remove and tie the bag and dispose of it in an appropriate trash bin.
Do I still need a waste bag?
Yes. The claw system is designed to be used with a waste bag wrapped around the claws.
Does this eliminate the need to bend down?
